Police responded to a call about a man threatening his 17-year-old female cousin with a machete. Upon arrival, officers found Sidney Richardson. The officers ordered Richardson to drop his machete. When he refused, an officer shocked him with a Taser, but Richardson still didn't drop the knife. In fear for their safety, one of the officers shot and killed Richardson.
