At about 3:49 p.m. there was a report of an armed robbery at a in Hudson Falls. Police spotted a other in Hudson Falls and attempted to stop it. The driver fled. Hudson Falls Police, Washington County sheriff's deputies and state police assisted and chased the other through Hudson Falls, Kingsbury and into Fort Ann. The other came to an abrupt stop in Queensbury. Police attempted to speak with the driver as they approached the other, but Sheldon R. Streicher reportedly shot and killed himself.
