Officers with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office went to a home at about 2:30 p.m. Officers had been told a wanted person, Shane Jensen, was hiding under the residence's deck. When police arrived, they encountered an armed man. Jensen allegedly fired a weapon into the air, then pointed it at the officers. An Iowa Department of Natural Resources officer shot and killed him.
