Franklin Parish deputies were in pursuit of a reckless driver and set up a roadblock ahead of the pursuit in attempt to stop the car. The suspect refused to stop and as he fled in the general direction of the deputies, they feared for their lives, and shot and killed him. Police alleged vehicular assault.
