Sarge Junior and another teenager were armed and attempted to rob an off-duty police officer on Chicago's Northwest side. During the course of the robbery, Junior discovered he was robbing a police officer and pointed his gun at him. The officer pulled his gun and shot and killed Junior. The other teenager ran away.
