Biography

Sam Fahd Abu Haikal was a seven-month-old Palestinian baby from Hebron in the occupied West Bank. He became one of the youngest victims of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict when he was fatally shot while traveling with his family in June 2026. His death drew significant attention because of his age and the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

On June 5, 2026, while returning home with his parents and relatives from a family outing in Bethlehem, he was critically injured when Israeli soldiers fired at the family's vehicle near a checkpoint in the Tel Rumeida area.
