How they died

Book author and mechanical engineering graduate killed during violent arrest by Islamic Republic agents. Was returning from work to home when security agents arrested her on charges of 'participating in protests'. She resisted the arrest and agents severely beat her with multiple blows to the head area with batons, which ultimately led to her death. Family was pressured by security institutions to declare cause of death as 'suicide', but death certificate records cause of death as 'impact of hard object to head'.
