Biography
Saed Abu Nabhan, a 25-year-old Palestinian cameraman and freelance journalist, was killed on 10 January 2025 while reporting from the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Known for his bravery and commitment to truth, he worked primarily with Al-Ghad TV, a British-Egyptian news channel, and the Turkish press agency Anadolu. Saed was documenting the devastating impact of Israel’s ongoing offensive when he was fatally shot by an Israeli soldier. His final moments, captured on video, show him falling to the ground as gunfire erupted around him—a tragic reminder of the deadly risks faced by journalists in Gaza.
Born and raised in the Gaza Strip, Saed Abu Nabhan developed a passion for photography and journalism early in life, driven by a desire to document the realities of war and give a voice to his people.
