About 4:15 a.m., police responded to a woman's call for help, police said. They broke into the house and inside they reportedly found Ryan Yamasaki inside a bathroom closet armed with a box cutter and the screaming woman. The officers ordered Yamasaki to drop the box cutter, but he allegedly "charged" at them with the box cutter and was shot and killed.
