Police received a series of 911 hang-up calls from an apartment complex, and neighbors reported hearing a man and woman fighting. A woman told 911 operators that her boyfriend had armed himself with a knife and was trying to assault her. Two officers entered the apartment, spotted the man holding a knife and shot and killed him.
