Police responded to a call on a man with a gun. They report that the man led them on a 26 mile chase back to his home. When he exited the other in his driveway, he reportedly pointed a gun at an officer, who fired at him. The man then fired back, a shootout ensued, and he was shot. Witnesses say they heard 40-50 gunshots.
