Deputies responding to a domestic disturbance call encountered Russell Donahue holding his estranged wife and daughter hostage inside their home. Donahue was armed with a handgun and threatened to kill his estranged wife and himself. When Donahue appeared in a broken window, two deputies shot and killed him.
