A witness said she drove by and saw a body by the side of the road alone. A Grapevine police officer had chased undocumented immigrant Villalpando out of his jurisdiction. Some say the dashcam shows Villalpando with his hands up and that he was unarmed. All of these details are disputed. Villalpando was an undocumented Mexican immigrant with four children.
