Officers responded to a call for a man making noise at an apartment complex. When they confronted him, he allegedly pulled a replica pistol out of a holster and pointed it at them. One of the officers fired several shots; the man died at a hospital a short time later. Police stated that " the suspect was also armed with several knives."
