At around 4:20 p.m., an officer approached Roy Hamner on reports he was beating a woman in the CVS parking lot. Hamner allegedly refused to reply to the officer's commands to show I.D. After being hit with a taser, Hamner hit his head on the ground, was hospitalized, and died.
