Strongsville police attempted to stop a car for a traffic violation. The driver failed to stop and continued to speed, police said. The pursuit ended at I-271 and I-71. Strongsville Officer Jason Miller fired his weapon at least one time, killing the driver, Roy Dale Evans Jr. Miller said that he feared the Evans was reaching for a gun, but no weapon was found.
