Deadly force

Officers were sent to check up on Rodriquez to try to talk him into taking his medication. When Rodriquez saw the officers he ran and barricaded himself inside a bathroom. SWAT was eventually called because the officers felt Rodriquez was acting aggressively by locking himself in. When they finally broke down the door Rodriquez had a machete. Rodriquez was swinging the machete in the small space and struck one of the officers with the flat side of it. Officers feared for their lives and shot and killed Rodriquez.
