Ronald Barawis was a wanted fugitive. Police caught up with him at McDonald's. They ordered him to get out of his car. Instead of obeying their commands, Barawis drove over barriers in the drive-through, accelerated his car and drove in the general direction of an officer, ramming into two police cars. He was shot and killed. Police alleged vehicular assault.
