Columbus police were called to the Caravan Trailer Park on a report of a stabbing. They found a woman who said she had been stabbed and a man who had been cut by the woman's boyfriend. The man had been trying to help her defend herself against the boyfriend, later identified as Munoz. As police arrived, Munoz had just driven off. Police followed him and the chase ended when he lost control of his car just north of the Goodale Street exit of Rt. 315. The car hit a guardrail and went down an embankment and ended up about 20 feet from the Olentangy River, police said. Munoz was thrown from the car and landed in the river, killing him.
