Officers responded to an accusation that a man used a gun to threaten someone at a McDonald's. Hamill's other, near the McDonald's, matched the description of the suspect's other. According to authorities, Hamill exited his other and pointed a gun at officers. Three officers told him to drop it. They fatally shot him when he did not.
