At Rest

Reno police have identified a man they say was crushed to death by a trash compactor while running from law enforcement yesterday morning. Municipal Court Marshals saw 37-year-old Rodney Wright on his bike around 11am Wednesday at First and Virginia Streets. He was wanted for a misdemeanor, and when marshals tried to stop him, Wright sped away, crashed his bike and then ran. Less than 30 minutes later an employee at a residential complex at First and Ralston told investigators someone had been found in the building's trash compactor.
This record exists so that Rodney L. Wright, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
