Deadly force

As the prime suspect in the beating death of his mother in Gautier Mississippi, Lasseigne had appeared on "America's Most Wanted" twice during his months-long run from the police. Recognizing the disabled MS tags, county deputies approached a man in the driver's seat of a car parked at a Flying J truck stop. That was Lasseigne, who pulled away a black, white and red blanket to reveal a sawed-off shotgun and started a firefight, which he lost.
