Deadly force
A police officer pulled over Rodney Arnez Barnes for speeding and running a stop sign in his pickup truck. Barnes had walked off a psychiatric unit the year before while awaiting trial for robbery and gun charges. Barnes exclaimed "I'm not going back" and pulled a gun and shot at the officer. The officer returned fire striking Barnes several times. Barnes then shot himself in the head, killing himself.
