Officer Randy Reyna pursued Serrato by other. In one version of the story, Officer Reyna ran Serrato off a road to end the high-speed chase. Serrato crashed. In the other, Officer Reyna negligently rammed Serrato, knocking his other over an embankment. Whatever the case, Serrato died nine days later.
