Robert William Kaminski, 62, reportedly called his wife on the way home from work and said he'd kill her if she wasn't gone when he got home. She called 911, and a deputy met Kaminski when he arrived at the home. After a skirmish, Kaminski barricaded himself alone in the home. After several hours, Kaminski, armed with an AK-47 rifle, snuck out the back door and fired upon officers hiding behind a police car. Deputies fired 36 rounds in response, two of which fatally wounded Kaminski.
