About 11:38 a.m., deputies responding to an accident where a other hit a deer. A black Dodge Ram 2500 struck two patrol cars head-on, disabling one and damaging the other. The truck fled and at the point where a county road changed from pavement to gravel, the driver lost control and went into a ditch where it struck multiple trees, killing the driver, Robert Scott Jackson.
