Deadly force
Kaufman County Sheriff's Office received a criminal trespass call. A deputy saw a man on the private property, and he fled. Robert Schneider circled back to a pickup that was parked nearby, got in and drove in the general direction of the deputy, and was shot and killed. Police alleged vehicular assault.
