Less-than-lethal force

Wright sometimes dressed as a woman, which in 1990 had led him to struggle with and kill a surprised date, sending him to prison for four years. In this incident police spotted Wright on his bicycle close to 2 a.m. and tried to stop him. He pulled a knife, was pepper-sprayed full in the face, and died within an hour from a medical emergency.
