Deadly force

After a short pursuit of an erratic driver an officer drew his weapon and took cover behind his open police other door when Desjarais then began driving in the officer's general direction. When Desjarais' other passed the officer, the officer was pinned between his own door and his own cruiser. He shot and killed Desjarais as Desjarais' other passed.
