Less-than-lethal force

A county officer observed Keske behind the wheel of his pickup parked under a causeway bridge, reportedly flailing his arms and speaking nonsense. He answered an attempted contact by backing the pickup into the officer's car, then forward over a fence, then launched into a low-speed chase, all while deputies shot at his other. Untouched by the bullets he stopped with flattened tires. Officers tasered him, he became unresponsive, and died in hospital shortly afterward. One of two local Taser deaths within two days.
