Deadly force
A motorcycle officer stopped Richard Young for speeding in a school zone, police said. While the officer completed his citation, Young reportedly reversed his car and struck the officer and the motorcycle, and then accelerated his car in the direction of the officer when the officer shot him, police said. Police alleged vehicular assault.
