At 1:10 a.m., officers from the Arvin Police Department responded to a report of spousal abuse. Officers made contact with a Hispanic man inside the home. The man allegedly was holding some type of stabbing object in his hand. The man ignored officers commands to drop the object and continued to advance. Officers reportedly used their Tasers to no effect and shot and killed Richard Posadas.
