Deadly force

Police responded to a call about a home robbery. When they arrived at the residence they were attacked by a neighbor who had broken into the home and killed the owner's dog and vandalized his home. After the victim came after police with a crowbar and a knife they shot him. The neighbor and the victim had an ongoing feud lasting nearly 10 years.
