Officers with the Preston Police Department and deputies with the Franklin County sheriff's office responded at about 8:30 p.m. to a report of a suspicious man at Stokes Grocery. Officers escorted Raul Antonio Menjivar Saabedra outside where he allegedly pulled a knife and was shot after a Taser reportedly failed to incapacitate him as he charged toward officers.
