Elizabeth Ann Vinson was shot and killed in a other outside a residence. When officers arrived at the home, her brother-in-law 37-year-old Randy Ray Vinson, armed with a rifle, was on the bridge over Rabbit Creek. When Randy fired his weapon, he was shot and killed by officers from the Kilgore Police Department and the Gregg County Sheriff's Department.
