Rob Herrington pointed a handgun at Lombardo, who was standing in or near Pittman Creek, and told him to stop beating his wife. Lombardo, walking unsteadily, approached Herrington. Herrington backed into his house. Lombardo, his wife trying to restrain him, broke down the door, followed Herrington through the house and collapsed on Bandolino Lane. Officers arrested Lombardo, then gave him medical attention. Lombardo died.
