Deadly force

Maryland State Police received two 911 calls around 1:30 p.m. The first call was from a male who gave a phone number instead of an address. They reported to the dispatcher that there was someone acting suspiciously who he believed had a gun. Two minutes later, a second 911 call was received from a male who gave a street address. The caller said someone was acting suspicious and he thought he had a gun. A trooper arrived and confronted Peyton Ham in the driveway. Trooper Joseph Azzari shot him twice, killing him.
