Police said the man was along the feeder road of the Eastex Freeway where he appeared agitated and under the influence while yelling obscenities. An officer tried to calm down the man, but he charged at the officer and kept coming even after a Taser was used on him, police said. The officer then fired his weapon multiple times and struck the man.
