How they died

31-year-old dentist shot during protests after intervening to protect another individual being assaulted by security forces. Shot from two directions - one bullet from behind and another from the front. Taken to private hospital where he fell into a coma and died. Adherent of the Yarsani faith. Authorities pressured family to pay one billion tomans or identify him as Basij member to release body; family was compelled to accept regime supporter designation due to inability to pay.
