Deadly force
Deputies pulled over a crew cab pickup truck with four passengers for a traffic evaluation. When deputies checked IDs, they discovered one of the two female passengers had a restraining order against one of the male passengers, Paul Askins. Asked multiple times to exit the other, Askins pulled out a handgun and advanced on one of the deputies, who shot and killed him.
