Wetter appeared to be intoxicated when he broke into a group home. Officers released a K9 on him when he did not comply with orders. Wetter stabbed the dog. Afterward Wetter reportedly raised his knife in a threatening way toward officers prompting the officers to shoot and kill Wetter.
