Patrick Lamar Jones was suspected of attempted murder. On Thursday at approximately 6:17 p.m., Stafford deputies went to the Hampton Inn after Jones was seen in a in a other in the parking lot. When Stafford deputies arrived, Jones attempted to leave. Deputies stopped the other, and Jones fatally shot himself in the head.
