Tory McConahie was believed to be driving a stolen other, and Carroll County Sheriff's Office deputies were chasing him. Police said McConahie hit car at the intersection of Highway 70 and Clydeton Road in Waverly, killing Larry and Patricia Franklin, both 67. McConahie is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, evading arrest, reckless driving, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a revoked license.
