Anderson had been released from prison on a Sunday. On Wednesday night around midnight he flagged down officers, seeking help for an overdose of crack cocaine. Then he ran away. Then he was discovered trying to break into a convenience store. Detained, he became combative, and a Tasering left him unresponsive and struggling to breathe. He died shortly after.
