Deadly force

Savannah Police officers responded to a homeless camp around 8:30 a.m. following a request from the landowners that homeless people be removed from their private property. When officers approached, a man came out of the tent holding a razor knife and another sharp object. One officer was reportedly trapped, and the officer shot and killed the man charging toward him with the weapon.
