Deputies went to Sevier County to arrest Norman Lowell Vandergriff, who was wanted on several outstanding warrants. Deputies arrived to find Vandergriff inside a other. He would not comply with orders and resisted arrest, and police shot at him. He have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
