Police said officers responded after the Meijer at 22600 Allen Road reported that a woman caught shoplifting had fled from store security and left with a man in a Ford truck around 5:30 p.m. An officer saw the truck and gave chase before the driver crashed into three other cars on Allen Road. One of the other drivers, Nicole Ann Cutting died at the scene.
