Police and fire departments responded to a crash around 8:30 a.m. A second other crashed in the median near the first crash. While responders were working both crashes, a third other lost control, crossed into the median and hit two firefighters and one police officer. The officer, Nicholas Reyna, 27, was killed. The two firefighters were taken to University Medical Center where David Eric Hill, 39, later died.
