How they died
Shot with live ammunition by Islamic Republic forces during protests in Shahsavar (Tonekabon). She was participating in protests with her father and died in his arms. Negin had studied biotechnology engineering and was described as a cheerful girl interested in art and sports. She painted, swam, and read extensively. She had wanted to emigrate to Australia.
