Dona Ana County Sheriff's deputy Eden Terrazas was responding to a call related to a missing child case. She was following a car on Interstate 10, driving 114 mph as she approached the curve in N.M. 192, near Sequoia Road. Terrazas lost control, crossed the opposite traffic lane and hit Natividad Nunez who was walking in the dirt shoulder.
